Weddings

We hold that “marriage is a gift God has given to all humankind for the well-being of the entire human family… for Christians marriage is a covenant through which a man and a woman are called to live out together before God their lives of discipleship” (Book of Order, W-49001). That being the case, a wedding is a service of worship in which a man and a woman offer their lives to God Almighty and submit their relationship to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. 

Our pastors are available to perform weddings at their own discretion. If you would like to request a pastor of Covenant officiate at your wedding (regardless of the location), contact the pastor directly. If you want to apply for a wedding at Covenant, call Debbie Hughes at the church office at 256-881-4501.
