We'll be serving the rural community of Dungannon, VA. Our youth group will join several other groups from different states and denominations to accomplish this through the youth missions organization, Son Servants. Each day our team will be spread out in the local area serving the community and individual families through minor home repair, community outreach programs, and Vacation Bible School for the local children (in cooperation with the Dungannon Development Commission, http://www.ddcinc.org). The workday begins early with individual devotions, and hard work through the early afternoon. The work will consist of basic skills involving mostly hammering and painting among other things. The evening program will consist of worship, prayer, teaching and time for reflection upon each day.
