Hal Oakley has served as pastor of Covenant since 1986. He and his wife Jean are tireless leaders and servants of the Covenant community. Mark Looyenga - Associate Pastor |

 Mark joined the Covenant staff in January of 2005. He and his wife Leigh Ann are the proud parents of sons Caleb and Evan. Mark oversees teaching and Stephen ministries. He also writes Mark's Margin - a column appearing in the Covenant newsletter and this Web site. He handles the duties of leader development, small group leadership, preaching, and pastoral care.

Dave Reiss - Youth Director |

 Dave's our awesome Youth Director. In addition to lots of experience working with youth, Dave spent three years in Budapest, Hungary, where he taught English and Literature in a Hungarian public high school. While in Hungary he met his wife, Dawn, who was also a teacher. They have a daughter, Lucy, and a son, Eli.

Rob Seitz - Parish Associate |

 Rob grew up in Covenant. In addition to being an ordained minister, he's also a successful businessman in Huntsville's high tech community. He's our "Tentmaking Pastor." While not a member of the paid staff, he serves Covenant as a pinch-hitter from time to time. You'll hear him deliver engaging, relevant, personal messages from the pulpit every once in a while. You might also get to hear him flex his seminary-earned skull-muscle during one of the Sunday School classes he occasionally teaches. You're sure to learn something you didn't know before - either about the Bible, or about Rob! |

Debbie Hughes - Secretary |

 The first voice you hear when you call Covenant will most likely be Debbie's. She's the first friendly voice of Covenant on the phone, and the one with the fastest typing fingers. She keeps the office humming and she knows where almost everything is.

Bryan Page - Music Director |

|
 Bryan brings many talents to his work here at Covenant. He directs choirs for all ages, as well as handbells and a variety of instrumental ensembles. He also frequently shares works of his own composition with our congregation. Bryan is married to Suzanne and they are the proud parents of Jack and Sarah Frances.

Cyndy Sarkisian - Director of Children's Ministry |

 Cyndy has a wonderful way with kids and is always planning meaningful programs for our little ones. Her children's messages are inspiring. When Cyndy is not spending time with the youngest ones at Covenant, she can often be found joining a brass ensemble in worship. Cyndy is also a wife to Colt, and mom to Sam.

Stan Hisaw - Praise Band Leader |

 Stan breathes life and soul into our early worship services with his musical talents. He leads his band and the worshippers in joyful and lively celebration of God's presence.

Fran Gibbons - Financial Secretary |

 Fran runs the numbers for Covenant. She also helps out Hal with administrative tasks now and then. She's really popular around Covenant, because she signs the checks!

Beth Vest - Preschool Director |

 Beth makes sure God's love spills out into the whole week as she oversees Covenant's Weekday Preschool program.

Keith Pope - Custodian |

When Keith is not making our facility look beautiful, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Diane, and his daughter Kennedi. They like bowling, movies, and amusement parks. Keith also enjoys Bible Study and is a big sports fan. Go 49ers!
