Our Vision for Outreach |
Covenant seeks to follow Jesus' promise spoken in Acts 1:8 as our model for outreach ministry. Jesus says: You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Get Involved! |
Here at Covenant, we're blessed with some excellent pastors, but we believe every member is a minister. So we try hard to equip members to minister to a hurting world with the gifts God gave them. We believe in growing and equipping people to go out and spread His love in the world. Are you handy with a hammer? Maybe you'd like to get involved with our churchwide Habitat for Humanity homebuilding projects, or maybe building wheelchair ramps for disabled folks with CASA. Good with people? You might make a great Stephen Minister to help someone through a life crisis. Got an adventurous spirit? Maybe you're ready to set sail on one of our foreign mission trips! We've been to Mexico and Belize and Haiti and Africa and Romania, and... well, you get the picture. And these are just the organized trips. Many of our members have struck out on their own or moved on to serve in ministries throughout the world. Are you a Prayer Warrior? Covenant believes, relies, and thrives on prayer. Apart from your own personal prayer life, you can be a part of our dedicated Prayer Chain, or join a Prayer Group, which meets regularly to pray specifically for our Covenant family and for the world. Maybe you like to stay closer to home. There's lots of room to serve in Sunday schools, small group leaders, office volunteers, special event organizers. Covenant can help you find and use your gifts! Check out the lists below for more on Covenant's missions. |
