We hold that "marriage is a gift God has given to all humankind for the well-being of the entire human family... for Christians marriage is a covenant through which a man and a woman are called to live out together before God their lives of discipleship" (Book of Order, W-49001). That being the case, a wedding is a service of worship in which a man and a woman offer their lives to God Almighty and submit their relationship to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Our pastors are available to perform weddings at their own discretion.
