Covenant is blessed to have such excellent care givers for our children and so many events for which child care is provided. However, it takes a great deal of work and planning to schedule our child care team for each event. This said, I’d like to introduce you to Arlyn Hennigar.

The children's department has some great programs lined up for 2010 but we need your help to make them happen...

The children's Sunday School is now known as Sunday Morning JAM Session. The JAM stands for Jesus and Me. We like to give our regular school year teachers a break in the summer so now is the time to consider being a summer teacher for the children's department.

Welcome to Covenant Kids!

Worship should be a place where both young and old feel welcome and know that they belong. Covenant assumes that when we baptize a child into the family of God, that child has a meaningful place in what that family does as a group, including worship. Our desire is for the children at Covenant to participate fully in worship services beginning in the first grade. Covenant values the contributions that children make to our worship experience. We can all learn from how children worship God!

Children age 6 (i.e. first grade) and under are invited to attend either of our Sunday morning worship services. There is even a special children's message and special worship bulletins to enhance the worship experience for the children. After the children's message, children may either stay with their parents or attend special activities for the remainder of the service. Infants and toddlers under 3 may stay in the nursery for the entire service, but they are also welcome to stay with the parents as well.

Covenant's nursery provides silent pagers for parents during Worship and Sunday Shool. You can rest easy knowing Covenant's caregivers can reach you if you're needed.
