Another new book is The Blessing by Smalley and Trent. Hal mentioned this book in a recent sermon. Two books about church growth have been donated by Al Black: The In-Between Church and The Very Large Church. Alice Mann and Lyle Schaller, well-known for their books on congregation size are the respective authors of these books. Also new is Standing Firm by the editor of The Layman, Parker T. Williamson. Researcher George Barna's small, but powerful, argument for the importance of children's ministries, Transforming Children into Spiritual Champions, is another new title.
