Covenant Board of Trustees
August 21, 2025
We are so grateful for everyone who has made the choice to financially support Covenant’s ministry this year. A key highlight to celebrate is that the number of giving families has risen significantly – by 18% – in just the first seven months of 2025!
A key area of concern we would like to share with you is that the total amount of giving slowed down through the summer months. To date we have received $600,953, which is 13% short of budgeted income. This works out to a current shortfall of approximately $100,000, or one month of our budgeted income.
Giving to Covenant is not about money, it’s about impact.
Much like a hub and spoke model, Covenant’s impact extends well beyond our Huntsville campus to missions, campus ministries and into each of our neighborhoods “wherever we go.”
By God’s grace we are seeing that “hub” grow and flourish. Our attendance has increased 10% over the last 12 months and we have seen 4 adults accept Christ as savior and receive altar bibles this year alone. These numbers illustrate how our mission to “make disciples of Jesus Christ” is coming alive.
A good example of this is Ariana Smartt. Ariana’s life was transformed by our congregation’s discipleship. We baptized her as a college student and gave her an altar bible. After she graduated from Harvard, we then sponsored Ariana to be a campus missionary at Columbia University to share the Gospel with students in New York City.

Ariana says: “I’m so grateful for the impact that Covenant has had on my life Without Covenant I would not be a Christian. But because of you, I now have the joy of a relationship with Jesus and the purpose of sharing my story with others as a missionary.”
Your generosity strengthens the hub and builds the spokes of Covenant’s impact in stories like Ariana’s.
Before we enter the stewardship season in the upcoming month, we wanted to give you this update on our mission and ask you to examine and prayerfully consider:
