Covenant’s Mission Statement

“To make disciples of Jesus Christ, who love God, love each other, and serve in the world.”

Covenant’s Five-Year Vision (2022 – 2026)

We see a multi-generational family committed to making disciples who love God, love one another, and serve in the world.

GATHER as a multi-generational family that loves God

  1. We pray that God would work through our church family to gather 500 people into worship weekly, with children, youth, and adults sharing Christ-centered community. (Matthew 22:37)
  2. We pray that God would call at least 12 adults to give their lives to Christ through conversion or recommitment during the course of a year. Our church will earnestly pray for 12 Bibles on our altar to present to these 12 people to celebrate their entry into God’s Kingdom. (Luke 15:4)

GROW as a multi-generational family that loves one another

  1. We pray that God would call people of all ages to take a “next step” in building intentional relationships with others in Christ. We pray for 320 people to be building relationships, learning God’s Word and growing as leaders in small groups. (John 13:34)
  2. We pray that God would show young people the length and height and depth of His love for them in Christ. We pray God would bring 100 children and 50 youth to gather weekly to grow closer to Christ, deeper in friendships and stronger in his Word. (Ephesians 3:17–18)

GO as a multi-generational family that serves the world

  1. We pray that God would guide us to discover our God-given gifts and equip us to share Christ through the Holy Spirit. We pray He would call 200 people monthly to share their gifts together on teams to empower Covenant’s ministry. (Mark 10:45)
  2. We pray that God would send us out into the surrounding community to make a long-term, sustainable impact. We pray He would send 100 people monthly to serve in outreach, intentionally living out our charge that “wherever we go, God has sent us.” (John 20:21)
