Our Program

Covenant Weekday Preschool is a ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church, offering a Christ-centered, play-based program for young children. Our mission is to nurture each child’s academic, social, spiritual, and emotional growth at their own pace while fostering a love for learning and a positive self-image. We provide a calm, age-appropriate, and loving environment designed to support optimal development.

Our Program features a balance of child-led and teacher-guided activities, extended free play, hands-on learning, and outdoor exploration. Using age-appropriate, play-based themes, our curriculum includes language arts, science, math, art, music, sensory exploration, dramatic play, and motor skills development.

Teachers craft dynamic lesson plans tailored to each class’s unique needs and developmental stages. Themes evolve with the children’s growth, offering engaging, sensory-rich experiences that deepen their understanding of the world.

Our program is open for enrollment and we have capacity. If you would like to apply for a spot, please click the button below.

Please note that Covenant Weekday Preschool only accepts children for admission who follow the CDC recommended vaccine schedule. Exceptions due to medical exemption only will be considered on a case by case basis and must go through a formal approval process.

No child is considered enrolled until the appropriate enrollment forms are accepted and the registration fee is paid.

Preschool Program Details

We are open Monday-Friday, 12 months a year. Drop off begins at 7:50a.m. Children’s programming is from 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m, pick up is at 5:00p.m.

We accept children from ages 4 months to 5 years.

Tuition is due on the 1st of the month and is considered late by the 10th. (1st month tuition is due by July 1st.) Our Preschool Program operates year round. During the school year we follow Huntsville City School’s.

Enrollment is rolling, you can apply at any time. We offer the following options and pricing:

(Open to the public) Full-Day Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM for $1000 a month (Infants $1200 a month).

(Open to the public) Three-Quarters-Day Monday – Friday, 8AM – 3PM for $800 a month (Infants $1000 a month).

(Open to congregation members) Half-Day Monday – Friday, 8AM – 12PM for $500 a month.

Our Staff

Our staff is made up of educated, trained and experienced teachers in Early Childhood Education. Each of our teachers has had experience in various areas including child development, music, art, and elementary and secondary education. All classrooms have staff members who are certified in Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and AED. Plans are in place for severe weather or other emergencies. We are dedicated to providing a safe, rich, and creative atmosphere from which learning can flow.
