On February 27th, Covenant welcomed mission partners with Empower Believers from India. Since 2007, Covenant has been supporting the work with unreached people groups in northern India.  This work initially focused in the Indian state of Bihar but has expanded to several states in northern India.  

Our visitors included Chandan and Pramila Shah and their daughter, Sakshi. Some of you may recall meeting Chandan during his last visit in 2015.  

During the lunch meeting they gave us an update on their ministry which focuses on training leaders and planting house churches.  One of the primary means of spreading the gospel is through prayer walks and finding a person of peace. Their stories were amazing! God’s spirit is at work in wonderful ways in a place where few have ever heard the name of Jesus.

We closed our time with a prayer over the five bibles that Pastor Kling has in the sanctuary. The time spent with them was truly a blessing for all involved.
