David became associate pastor of Covenant in July 2016, co-pastor in April 2018, and senior pastor in September 2018 on the retirement of Hal Oakley. Although he is the sixth generation in his family to become a pastor, his path to the ministry was not linear. Pursuing a career in the Financial Services Industry, David earned a B.A. in Economics/Mathematics from New College of Florida and a M.S. in Finance from University of Florida. Following graduation in 2010, he worked as an investment banker on Wall Street for three years structuring corporate bonds. While working in the bond market David also served as a consultant on young adult evangelism to the Unbinding the Gospel Project, one of the leading evangelism programs in America.
